The Bexhill Hanoverian Study Group
The Bexhill Hanoverian Study Group decided [...] to produce a small book to accompany the present permanent King's German Legion exhibition in Bexhill Museum. Extending the whole length of one wall and including table cases, the exhibition is very comprehensive. There are portraits of notable persons, [...] four figures, each about two feet high [representing two officers and two sergeants of various KGL units], a reproduction K.G.L. Line Battalion jacket [and] some models of K.G.L. soldiers [...]. The first K.G.L. exhibition in 1990 was a temporary one opened by the late Lady Longford. It was entitled "From Bexhill to the Battle of Waterloo – The King's German Legion" (175th Anniversary of the Battle). In 1991, a permanent display was launched by Dr. Peter Boyden of the National Army Museum. From the Introduction
